We started with white walls.

In November 2024 we found this space, signed the lease the next day, and started building with our own hands. Plasterers and electricians helped where we needed them. Everything else — the walls, the bar, the furniture — we figured out ourselves.

We opened on February 2nd. Not everything was ready. No outdoor banners, no full decoration, no fridges. But we had a coffee machine and genuine excitement, so we opened anyway.

Since then, things have been added slowly. Problems came too — water leaking through walls, neighbour complaints, the usual chaos of building something new. We kept going.

Cupy is three people who believe that the space around coffee matters as much as the coffee itself. We greet every person — and every animal — who walks through the door with the same genuine warmth. Some days are harder than others. The uncertainty hasn't gone away — we still don't know exactly what's ahead. What we know is that something real is being built here. People come in strangers and leave feeling like they found something. That's enough to keep going.
